On April 28, 2021 from Noon to 1:00 p.m., the Federal Bar Association will host the program Restarting Trials in the Northern District of Ohio via Zoom. The program is free.

With federal trials in the Northern District of Ohio tentatively scheduled to restart in May, this program will address the court’s modified trial procedures and how attorneys can best prepare to try their cases during the ongoing pandemic. Three attorneys who tried cases in the fall—Michelle Baeppler from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Jeff Lazarus from the Federal Public Defender’s Office, and David Doughten from the Law Offices of David L. Doughten—will talk about their experience and their advice for attorneys trying cases soon.
