Admission of Attorneys to Practice in the Northern District of Ohio

On February 10, 2020 the Northern District of Ohio upgraded to NextGen CM/ECF. All attorneys who wish to be admitted in the Northern District of Ohio must have an upgraded individual PACER account.

**The instructions below are ONLY for attorneys who have not previously been admitted in this District. If you are already admitted to the Northern District of Ohio and were previously able to e-file prior to our implementation of NextGen, DO NOT apply for admission or register for e-filing permissions via PACER. Instead, please follow the instructions to link your upgraded PACER account to your ECF account.**

Attorney Admission Application - Submit Online

Applicants must apply for Admission through PACER. Once the application and supporting documents have been submitted and approved by the Court you will receive a link via email to  pay the $248 admission fee.

Complete the Attorney Admission Application. Gather the other required documents, which vary by method of admission, as explained on the application. Submit the completed application and supporting documents as one PDF file by following these instructions. Please note that sponsors must provide original signatures.
