Construction Notice

Please be aware that there is construction taking place around the Courthouse. Please allow yourself extra travel time to arrive at the Courthouse. Parking

Parking is available at the Akron Center Garage located at 11 West Mill Street.

There is also a surface lot next to the Courthouse at 2 South Dart Avenue. This lot currently requires you to place exact change into the metal box at the back of the parking lot, as there is no attendant on duty.

You may also park at any other lot of your choice, but please do not park on the street or at a parking meter. Click here to view a map of downtown Akron parking options. The cost for parking is typically between $6.00-$8.00 per day. Prices are subject to change. Please bring your parking stub or receipt with you to the Jury Department for verification. You are responsible for paying for your parking the day of service but you will be reimbursed when you are paid for your jury service.

Dining

Lunch is typically not provided for Jurors. There is a Cafeteria on the B3 level of the Courthouse, which is open from 10:00AM-2:00PM. In addition, there are many dining options within walking distance located in the Akron Public Schools Building and the Orangerie Mall at Akron Center. Jurors can also bring a packed lunch. There is a microwave and refrigerator available in the Jury Assembly Room.
