You are invited to attend the FBA Northern District of Ohio Chapter Trial Academy: Expert Witnesses and Examinations, which will be held beginning October 6, 2025.

Are you looking for more courtroom experience? Are you looking to enhance your trial advocacy skills?

Learn best practices and techniques in handling expert witnesses at trial. How to prepare them for direct and cross examination. How to conduct their direct and cross examinations. How to construct and deconstruct expert reports. And how to demystify experts for juries to the advantage of your clients.

Faculty includes highly experienced and distinguished trial lawyers.

What makes Trial Academy unique is this: The program culminates in each student conducting a direct and cross examination of an expert witness before a Federal Judge in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Each Judge will provide constructive and insightful feedback to each student.

The program is designed to be highly interactive. The Trial Academy model is a simple one: "Teach, Show, and then Do." The program includes dynamic lectures and demonstrations by faculty. One-on-one coaching and feedback is provided to each student.

Open to attorneys at all levels who want to learn new trial advocacy skills or improve them - and to challenge themselves in a real-time court setting.
