Chief Judge Lioi employs one career law clerk and two or three term law clerks.

Term clerk positions begin in either June or September. Term clerks must have at least one year of post-law school legal experience. At the Chief Judge’s discretion, term clerkships may run from one to four years, depending on eligibility.

Those interested in applying for a term clerkship should send a cover letter, resume, law school and undergraduate transcripts, two writing samples, and a list of three references directly to chambers.

Chief Judge Lioi is currently accepting applications for a term clerk position, beginning June 1, 2026.
