FAQs

  • WILL I RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR JURY SERVICE?

You will receive an attendance fee of $50.00 per day for the first ten days, after which you will receive $60.00 per day. In addition, you are reimbursed for mileage at .70 cents per mile roundtrip from your home, turnpike tolls and parking expenses. Checks will be mailed to you approximately three weeks after your service.

Jurors who receive more than $600.00 in attendance fees will be sent an IRS form 1099 at the end of the year. Refer to a qualified tax advisor for questions regarding taxability of attendance fees.

PLEASE DO NOT USE MOBILE DEPOSIT TO DEPOSITE YOUR JURY SERVICE CHECK.

  • IS LUNCH PROVIDED?

Typically, lunch is NOT provided. Please see the Contact and Reporting Information Page for Akron, Cleveland, Toledo, or Youngstown for more information on dining options.
